Grimston is an unspoilt village with a 13C church, containing an interesting 17C 'field gate' clock, a family run village pub 'The Black Horse Inn' and many lovely walks and rides. Other nearby villages also boast good pubs and restaurants.

Set close to the junction of Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire, Grimston provides an excellent centre from which to explore and enjoy the lovely and varying countryside of 'Hidden England' from Rutland Water in the south, the Vale of Belvoir on the doorstep and Sherwood Forest to the north.

Our nearest town Melton Mowbray, seven miles to the southeast, apart from being famous for its Pork Pies and the locally produced Stilton “the king of cheeses”, is a true market town with its livestock auction (Tuesdays), street and farmers markets and also the fine St. Mary's Church (1170) the stateliest parish church in the county, where Sir Malcolm Sergeant was once organist.

Whatever your interests there is plenty to capture your imagination within close reach.
